Workshops with Solène Weinachter and Becky Namgauds

Building on the success of previous year's content, this year we will running our workshops as a "choreographic laboratory" aiming to balance technical and artistic learning opportunities.

​

We hope you will arrive with some experience of creating dance or being part of the creative dance process through collaboration with others. Solène and Becky will lead, nuture, structure and refine the ideas that emerge during the week's workshops, with the aim of creating choreographic vignettes that capture ideas of the individual and the group....starting points for your own choreography or short completed pieces.

There is the opportunity to join in a short performance at the end of the course where we showcase the weeks learning to the local community.

​

During the week there is ample opportunity to socialise and discuss ideas with the other dancers and teachers as we dine together each evening. Above all, our course is about learning and sharing experiences, ideas and dance.

 

There is a 'rest' day during the week, with a walking excursion into the fabulous natural landscape of the Couserans Pyrénées.
